My favorite duo -- Leipzig -- Sahlfeld (Simone Thomella) and her ex-husband XXXX (XXXX) -- so unjournalistic of me not to know these. Will go back and clean this up later. This was an interesting Tatort, almost in the manner of an English country house murder. The victim was wohlhabend, as was her environment and the fellow suspects. Easy on the eyes. It almost reminded me of life in Surrey.
The title was 'Welken" (glaube ich) and it was about fading beauty. The victim was 43 (allegedly -- I would have guessed 53), a 'cougar' and fighting age with everything she had. So not my type but definitely in my age group, as well as the age group of the Kommissarin, Sahlfeld. A lot of comments on aging, becoming invisible, being ignored, shoved aside... all apt as this Leipziger team has been fired. Horrible decision on the part of the Tatort gods. The last Tatort of theirs has been shot, it might have been this one. So basically very depressing and a little too close to the bone here.
